Why Develop a Data Dashboard?

We invested in our staff by developing a dashboard and we used that to implement a series of strategies to retain our staff.

One of the QIC-WA Workforce Champions, Joel Odimba, was involved in the development and deployment of a data dashboard at the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families.

This short video features his description of the type of information they get from the dashboard and how they use it as a tool for agency decision makers to learn about their workforce. The dashboard helps everyone speak the same language when it comes to determining what types of interventions the state may use to help retain staff.
